Perhaps one of the most recognizable natural landmarks in all of England, The River Thames is the largest river in this country. Although it is highly prevalent in London, it is also an important part in numerous other cities in England. This river has many important ports and provides transport to numerous water crafts. A dip in the shallow shores could never hurt, but wandering out too far is not recommended.

One of the must-see spots in London, this large Bell Tower can be found at the northern end of the infamous Westminster Palace. It stands at a hefty 316 feet high, and the only way up is a long climb up a 334-stair long spiral staircase. However, should you make it up that far, it is truly a sight to see.

On the northern bank of the River Thames lies this grand building. The meeting place of Parliament, this building is still fairly new. At the northern end of the building stands the grand Big Ben. Inside, Westminster is a small maze of office buildings, hallways, and important meeting rooms. The palace is also heavily guarded, and so anyone would be a fool to try to sneak in for any mischief.

Rather than clearing them away, officials have left the remains of the former Westminster Palace in their place. Charred and dilapidated, the ruins are a dangerous place to go exploring. However, the risk-takers are certainly welcome to try.

The Tower of London has a rather deceiving name, as it is really not a tower at all. Rather, it is a grand and intimidating fortress. With four grand towers, fortified walls, and even a draw bridge, it is as safe as a place can get. However, the general public is rarely allowed in. It is used instead as a safe haven for valuables and a prison for dangerous criminals.

Not far from the Tower of London there is a wide open space known only as Tower Hill. Most days that's all it is; a hill of little importance. However, this is also where the most dangerous criminals of all time have been, and are still, executed in the public eye.

An impressive Cathedral located at the highest point in London. Currently, it is known as the tallest building in London. Besides being a normal church with services for the public to attend, it also often hosts some of the most important Ceremonies held in London.

Leeds is a well-diversified mix of a city. It has both industrial and rural areas, with buildings and empty ground. It is starting to develop into an industrial center that would rival the others. On top of that, it is also one of the big Sporting centers of England.

Nottingham is one of the most tight-knit and suspicious cities in England. They have fierce and protective borders. They are not, of course, completely apposed to having visitors from other cities, but should you plan to travel here, be prepared to be well searched and questioned. On the inside, Nottingham is a smaller city who is just becoming a big name because of their production of lace and Bicycles.
